FAQs

How far can an electric bike go on a single charge?

Eazion electric bikes offer a riding range of up to 80–90 miles per charge, depending on the model and riding mode. For instance, the K9 and N9 PRO are rated for up to 90 miles, while the T6 delivers up to 80 miles under optimal conditions. Your real-world range depends on payload weight, assist level (PAS vs. throttle), terrain, and tire pressure. Riding in lower pedal-assist levels on flat pavement maximizes your distance.

How fast can an electric bike go?

Out of the box, Eazion e-bikes are factory-set to a maximum assisted speed of 20 mph to comply with standard US regulations. On select models, riders can unlock higher performance settings reaching up to 36 mph. Note: Always verify local state and municipal regulations regarding speed limits, helmet requirements, and designated trail access before unlocking higher speeds.

What should I look for when buying an electric bike?

● Riding Purpose & Frame Style: Choose a frame built for your lifestyle—whether that is an agile step-through commuter, a bold moped-style cruiser, or a rugged fat-tire all-terrain bike.

● Motor & Torque: Look for high-output motors that deliver smooth acceleration and enough hill-climbing torque for your local topography.

● Battery Capacity (Watt-Hours): Higher capacity means longer range without range anxiety. Many Eazion models feature large 52V 20Ah (1,040Wh) battery packs engineered for extended rides.

● Tire Profile & Suspension: Wide fat tires provide superior grip, stability, and natural bump absorption across asphalt, dirt, and gravel.

● Warranty & Service: Eazion stands behind every build with a 2-year limited warranty on core components and dedicated, real-person customer support.

How long does an e-bike battery last before needing replacement?

With proper care, an Eazion lithium-ion battery typically lasts 3 to 5 years, or roughly 500 to 1,000 complete charge cycles, before experiencing noticeable capacity degradation. To prolong battery life, store the battery at room temperature (50°F–77°F), avoid complete discharges to 0%, and keep it charged around 50%–70% when storing for extended periods.

Do you have to pedal an electric bike?

● Pedal Assist (PAS): The motor kicks in only as you pedal, amplifying your natural effort to tackle hills and headwinds effortlessly.

● Pure Twist Throttle: Engage on-demand power with a simple twist—no pedaling required. Perfect for resting your legs or cruising away from traffic lights.

 ● Traditional Pedaling: Ride with the motor switched off just like a conventional bicycle whenever you want a workout.

Do you need a license to ride an electric bike in the US?

Under standard factory settings (up to 20 mph with throttle and pedal assist), Eazion e-bikes operate as Class 2 electric bicycles. In most US states, Class 2 e-bikes do not require a driver's license, vehicle registration, or insurance, and can be ridden on regular bike lanes and streets. If you unlock higher speeds (above 20 or 28 mph), the bike may fall outside standard 3-Class bicycle definitions and may be restricted to private property, OHV areas, or require local vehicle compliance. Always check your specific state laws.

Can you ride an electric bike in the rain?

Yes. Eazion electric bikes are built with IP54-rated water resistance, protecting electrical components, displays, and battery housings from rain and road splashes.

● Riding Tips: Slow down, avoid slick painted road markings, and increase your braking distance in wet conditions.

● Maintenance: Never submerge the motor or battery in deep standing water, and avoid using high-pressure car washers. Always wipe the frame and make sure the charging port is 100% dry before plugging in the charger.
